We are now launching Global Statuses in Boards on Fire

Smoother workflows, cleaner integrations, and more structure. We are excited to launch Global Statuses in Boards on Fire.

Previously, selectable statuses and their labels had to be configured separately for each component on every board. While this offered flexibility, it also led to a lot of duplicate work and increased the risk of inconsistencies across boards.

With Global Statuses in Boards on Fire, everything is now unified and easy to overview across the entire platform. At the same time, each component still has the option to use its own labels where needed, striking the perfect balance between structure and flexibility.

For users of the platform, this means clearer organization and smoother workflows. For developers and integrators, it means cleaner integrations and fewer errors thanks to validation directly in our API.

As Frida Bolin, frontend developer at Boards on Fire, explains:

“Global Statuses provide both structure and freedom – consistency across the platform, while still allowing flexibility to adapt to each organization’s needs.”

Less chaos, more clarity, and results you can truly see in everyday work.
