Safety cross

Using Boards on Fire 2024-11-08

The green cross is used to document and visualize accidents and incidents within the organization.

The data source for the green cross is pre-set and therefore not a data source that needs to be created manually. A status field is also predefined as it is only possible to choose fields of the "status" data type. All you need to do is click on the component settings and then click save, and the green cross is ready to be used.

This component can be aggregated and mirrored, which you set up under the mode in the settings. If two aggregated boards are merged into, for example, a management board, it will always display the "worst" status in the management board's green cross. Therefore, the management board will show red for an accident even if only one suborganization has had an accident during the day.

In the settings for this component, you can customize the colors with optional names and exclude colors if desired. These settings are found under the heading "statuses." To name the statuses, activate the "custom names for statuses" button, and then it's just a matter of typing the desired name in the box where the current name is displayed. To hide or activate the colors that are shown, click on the button next to them.

Here, you can enable the display of comments entered for each day. This is done by activating "show comments for the selected day." To show how many days of each color have been logged during the month, activate "show mini overview." A streak can also be activated to show the number of consecutive days without a red day, and this is done by checking "show current streak."

The green cross is also available in a format that displays the entire year, divided month by month. To view this perspective, click on the component settings and then select "year overview."

You can also view a perspective that presents which statuses have been recorded each day, month by month.
