After many years of managing daily operations manually, Hoval realized that the process could be made both smoother and more efficient. With Boards on Fire, parts of the company have now taken the step towards digitalization, with the goal of gradually implementing the solution across the entire organization. The results so far have been impressive, says Daniel Manero, Global Lean Manager at Hoval, who particularly values the possibility of automatic updates of key KPIs.
– Before we started using Boards on Fire, we worked with analogue boards and all information had to be transferred manually between levels. This often led to lost information and reduced efficiency, explains Daniel Manero, Global Lean Manager at Hoval.

He further emphasizes that digitalization will simplify and improve collaboration with Hoval’s other factories in Europe, since all departments and production units can now follow the same processes and access real-time data. This strengthens both coordination and decision-making across borders.
